Despite Our Small Size, Jews Must Make the World a Better Place

By PAMELA KATZ

Moses reminded the Israelites who were getting read to enter the Promised Land that although few in number, they had a responsibility to God and to each other, that they—a small group—should nonetheless feel empowered and able to confront challenges. Today, small local organizations can do more good than large ones, for example in assisting international development work.

By LEAH DOBERNE-SCHOR

By RABBI BRADLEY SHAVIT ARTSON
